Tucked away in a calm neighborhood that's steps away from Roosevelt Row, is a gem of a diner. Went for Sunday brunch and it was not busy at all and was in fact very peaceful. The service was very fast and extremely friendly. Mimosa's are a must and priced right. The food came out fast and was delicious. Definitely would come back every Sunday if I could.

Was in the area and decided to go with something a little out of the way. In the middle of, what feels to me to be a very dense residential area, was this little diner. With a patio seating area that must be awesome during cooler days, we sat inside and got waited on by an extremely cute waitress. No soda that I saw on the menu, so got the homemade fruit punch. It was delicious with a little hint of more than just fruit, it was lovely. For food, got the Welcome Burger, medium, sans toppings, just ketchup, mustard and something called garlic aoili, with fries. The fries were so very small and light, but just the right amount of greasy and so very delicious. Wish they were not so small, but that's my preference. The burger was spectacular, with everything mixing perfectly and staying together with the tooth pick. It was a bit messy, but not overly so. I did eat it rather quickly because it was that good, and also didn't want to deal with picking it back up.Overall, the food was heavenly and not too filling, just the exact right amount. I would love to go back.Only problem was the pricing. For meals, with the fruit punches, was about $. I know our economy sucks, but that was still hard to swallow.I'll definitely be going back some time soon, if nothing else to get something I know I love, with a very nice patio waiting for me.

I’ve been meaning to visit Welcome Diner for a while now and it did not disappoint! I love how the diner felt tucked away but also so vibrant and cool. I can see why it’s a local favorite.I had the Friday special of twice-fried chicken, greens, and baked Mac n cheese. All of it was soooo delicious and just the right amount of seasoning and flavor. The drinks were great too:) I’m definitely keeping tabs on upcoming specials and will be back!!

Fantastic place to eat in the Phoenix area.I had the Welcome burger and it was delicious. The fries were warm. And the burger was more well done than medium. A lot of restaurants do this for health reasons. My wife and her father had the welcome breakfast with their eggs over medium and it was good. One of the orders of the eggs were overcooked and well done.My sister Angelica had the chickenfried sandwich and it was great. We also enjoyed the Mac n cheese and it was the bomb.
